It’s less than a week away until one of my favourite days of the year, Star Wars day, May the fourth and this year I’m even more excited then ever because it will be the first one I get to share with my new baby daughter (insert heart emojis and happy screams) we have so much planned that we have started already, here’s a few wonderful ways to celebrate
It’s no secret that I love to decorate! Pull out some of your vintage collectables, Lego, pop vinyls, shadow boxes, chalkboards, Lightsabers and get creative.
Get out your vinyls and chill out to the sounds of John Williams or get your groove on Maz Kanata Style
Last year I made a BB8 cake and threw a little party. Whether you are having a party, dinner with friends or a solo movie marathon there are so many great cookbooks and recipes to try. @JustJenn is my favourite check her out on social media and at StarWars.com
I love to read to my daughter and we have quite the Star Wars library. Not only are there some amazing Star Wars children books the adult novels are huge… did somebody say Lost Stars?!
Cosplay your favourite character and channel your inner Jedi, Sith, bounty hunter or creature
STAR WARS TEES
No need to explain. Y’all know what I’m talking about, that dedicated draw full of endless Star Wars Tees too many to count! So rock your fav tees and share the Star Wars Love
It’s no secret how much I love to craft you can check out some of our previous craft activities in past blogs, StarWars.com has some great crafts, Bonnie Burtons Star Wars Craft Book is a household favourite, so why not try some or make your own Star Wars Craft tutorial.
STAR WARS MOVIE MARATHON
There’s nothing like a good Star Wars movie marathon and this year how lucky are we to add a new Star Wars film to our collection & just in time it’s now on Blu ray DVD
No matter how you choose to celebrate Star Wars Day big, small or solo May the 4th be with you always!
